Since Scott Bradlee created the project in 2009, Postmodern Jukebox has amassed more than 925 million YouTube views and 3.2 million subscribers, chalked up more than 1.3 million likes on Facebook, performed on “Good Morning America,” topped iTunes and Billboard charts, caught the attention of NPR Music and NBC News, and played hundreds of shows to sold-out houses in over 60 countries around the world. PMJ is known for posting new videos each week that find creative new ways to put a vintage twist on modern pop hits. A huge number of artists are involved, reimagining contemporary pop, rock, and R&B hits in the style of yesteryears, from swing to doo-wop, ragtime to motown, or as Bradlee puts it, “pop music in a time machine”.
